Big Deal with ZF Saarbrücken 4th Generation valve body production line awarded to ANGER.
10 years after the launch of one of the most successful transmissions in automotive history the 4th generation of the 8HP automatic transmission is being started. ANGER has already been exclusive supplier of valve body machines since 2009 and has successfully installed and operated 36 fully automated HCX machines for 8HP. This is mainly a result from an extraordinary technical performance of the machinery, the continuous outstanding process quality and the low maintenance cost compared to conventional machining centers.
„Now we achieved to be awarded from ZF with the new generation production line again. „This order is another milestone in the history of ANGER, we are very proud of continuing the great partnership with ZF Group“, explains Dietmar Bahn, ANGER Head of Sales. AMB 2018 Impressions ANGER presents the new SP series for the structural parts and E-mobility!
AMB 2018 starts from 17th to 22nd September in Stuttgart, Germany. Countless visitors visited ANGER at the stand of TTGroup in hall 10 at AMB last week. Lots of attention was drawn to the innovative clamping fixture and the modularity of the SP series.
Central topic was the flexible and efficient machine architechture for 5-axis double spindle serial machining of big and light parts, such as battery trays, longitudinal and cross beams, subframes, or profile parts. The completely independent mobility of both travelling columns enable the clamping concepts in pairs or in OP10/20, and therefore the higher flexibility. With the pallet changer the efficiency is further increased, and the loading time of the machine is thus significantly reduced to only 8 seconds. ANGER offers for the automobile lightweight and E-mobility with long-time engineering experience and comprehensive application know-how of innovative production system. EMO 2017 Impressions ANGER and TTGroup present the complete product portfolio!
Large number of visitors has visited ANGER at the TTGroup booth in hall 12 during EMO fair from 18.09 to 23.09. Maximum attention was generated by the innovative double spindle machine 2PLUS and the flexible robot fixture loading system "SmartFix". Visitors were surprised by the stunningly short chip-to-chip time and the flexibility of the universal clamping interface. Together with PCI SCEMM and Tongtai, it was the first time TTGroup presents its complete product portfolio for the automotive industry, including turnkey solutions based on single and twin-spindle standard horizontal machining centers, special purpose machines, additive manufacturing machines and latest generation of structural part machines. Strategic Change at ANGER MACHINING
In the automotive and machine building industry, which is so driven by innovations, it is necessary to develop continuously, technically, strategically, and organizationally. This in turn requires new thinking, new approaches and new strategies.
ANGER MACHINING is now being upgraded to the technology, sales, and service center of “TTGroup” (Tongtai Group) in Europe, thus enhancing the synergies between Taiwanese parent company, which took over the majority of ANGER in 2015.
Concretely it means that the machining solutions of ANGER for the cutting industry are extended by several powerful 4- and 5- axis single and double spindle machining centers. In addition, ANGER is now able to offer the largest range of machines for the processing of structural parts available on the market. These supplement the highly productive transfer center solutions that ANGER written in its history of production.
In the area of structural parts and new parts for electric mobility, a major growth market where ANGER becomes the leading development and application center. New attractive production solutions are developed and marketed in cooperation with the designer in Taiwan.
November 2016: ANGER MACHINING is extending its product portfolio in the field of structural parts machining for the Automotive Industry. The new machine generations will have bigger workspace and higher velocity, but have less costs compares to similar size MC.
AMB Stuttgart 2016 AMB Stuttgart 2016: ANGER, PCI, and Tongtai Combine Their Expertise
This year's AMB in Stuttgart took place on September 13–17 and featured 469 exhibitors. The international exhibition for metalworking had record numbers of exhibitors and visitors and was bursting at the seams despite having 105,000 square meters of exhibiting space. For the first time, ANGER exhibited alongside PCI and Tongtai at a german mechanical engineering trade fair, presenting a range of innovations and new developments from the group:
• Over the last year, ANGER has been working intensively on a new machining method for bearing tunnels (e.g., for cylinder head hoods or crankcase bearing shells). With angular spindles mounted in a row, ANGER MACHINING has developed completely new technology that facilitates significantly more precise and at the same time faster machining of bearing tunnels. The method has already undergone comprehensive testing and produces excellent precision results.
• Another new development from ANGER is revolutionizing machine loading. Clamping fixtures are transferred to the machine by robots using a universal interface. The trick is that the clamping fixture becomes the robot gripper, meaning that new workpieces in the future can be fitted fully automatically within the machine cycle and eliminating the need to change the robot gripper.
• PCI presented its new honing and machining spindle. Honing is integrated into the normal working spindle of the machining center, making it possible to pre-machine and hone cylinder bores in a single clamping cycle.
• The Tongtai VU-5 ultrasonic machining center is ideal for machining extremely hard materials like ceramic or silicium. The integrated ultrasonic generator helps achieve long tool service life and the best surface quality. The machine type has been used successfully for some time in the Swiss luxury watch industry.
